Excellent update, esp placing market orders from chart itself and addition of line charts.

    One question:

Could you place Pi on Windows Store please because Windows S improves battery life of laptops but does not allow download of non-windows store apps.

This is anyway going to be the future but placing it now will give a leg up over the competition and allow us to buy our Surface Laptops.

Kindly reply if downloading Pi from Windows Store is possible or in the works

    Thank you

Its a shame that Day High/Low option has such unreadable colour combination.
How does one choose white font with parrot green background?

Take a look here, its a snapshot from pre-opening rates.

    Dear Mr. Kumar,
    Thanks for your continuous support.

    I have a query.
Is it possible to download the candlestick data of various timeframe candles.
Imean in case I am looking for 5 minutes candle …. Can I download the Open High Low and close of those candles in an excel sheet from Pi ??

Thanks in advance for your anticipated support on this…

    Regards
    RB

    Tradelab/Zerodha,

I have one small request in PI.

If i can draw Horizontal lines at previous day High, Low and Close( different color lines for all the 3 lines – eg. Green to PDH, Red to PDL and White to PDC) in one click that would be helpful.

Same way Horizontal lines at previous week High, Low and Close

Please consider this. Now when ever I open a chart I have to manually draw this every time.

If you can incorporate these in next update….will be very very helpful.

    Rest everything Wonderful!!!

    Thanks and Regards

In pi market watch is it possible to provide one or two user defined column? Where we can enter a calculated field? Such as if I want to know todays range, I can enter high-low etc.

8)Color Highlight of scrips on MW for : view->user setting->market watch with –
    Day High -Green
    Day Low -Blue
    Year High -Golden
    Year Low -Gray

Is this feature not active till now ?

  14. Saket Kumar June 30, 2017 at 11:46 am

    Hi Amit,
Hope you have updated Pi(Help->Check for updates) to use this feature ,this is not a mandatory update hence you may not have received the notification for this update.

  15. Saket Kumar June 30, 2017 at 11:50 am

    Hi Brill,
We are looking into addition of custom columns.

  16. Saket Kumar June 30, 2017 at 11:51 am

    Hi Vamsi,
I suppose this code you can get over internet.

  17. Saket Kumar June 30, 2017 at 11:52 am

    Hi Vaibhav,
Thanks for the query. We had plan to add this indicator long back ,also this is 99% ready as well, but the cloud formation has technical issue hence we had to postpone it for now.

  18. Vivek June 30, 2017 at 2:57 pm

    Hi Saket,

After the recent update, if you split the display screen in 2 halves, 1 side MW & another side eg – Admin Position or something, we cannot drag the window splitter to either side or up-down. This was working in previous version.

Hope the issue faced is clear & a quick patch will be released 2 fix this bug….

    Regards,
    Vivek

  19. Vivek June 30, 2017 at 3:11 pm

    Hi Saket,

Ignore my previous post. After re-start the window splitter is working fine. Meanwhile still waiting for below:

    1. Ichimoku Cloud
    2. Chat fetch is taking ages (both Shift + C & Shift + D) to open.
    3. Ability 2 save & re-open layout with multiple charts in specific format (not sure if this is incorporated in the new release)

    Regards,
    Vivek

  20. Saket Kumar June 30, 2017 at 3:26 pm

    Hi Vivek,
Regarding your point 2 ,can you try reconciling chart data by Ctr+R and opening chart with smaller number of days ,if you are still facing same issue?
Rest point it will take more time from our end.

  21. Vivek June 30, 2017 at 3:35 pm

    Hi Saket,

Thanks for the quick response. I got an unhandled exception message when I tried closing a chart. I have sent you an email with the exception log.

    Regards,
    Vivek

It looks like Pi-Bridge is not working anymore. Any comments?

  23. Uday July 13, 2017 at 10:31 pm

With every Pi update, all my custom market watches are removed (only a default market watch remains). This has been an issue for more than 6 months now. Settings are reset too, but they are fewer, so it still manageable.

The splash screen – it takes so long even now to get out of the way, at least on my laptop (also an issue for more than 6 months).

I think these are relatively simple things that should be fixed.

Version numbering – I can’t understand why all Pi updates show 1.0.0.0 always, despite being updated umpteen number of times. I am sure Tradelab has a version contorl system in place, so why always 1.0.0.0?

It does not have any affect on performance of the software, but certainly bizarre.

  24. Brill July 14, 2017 at 9:59 am

    Sir,
One more useful feature request – a very thin dotted line at last traded price, which moves on every price change.

    Thanks and regards.

  25. kiran July 20, 2017 at 11:42 am

    Hi Team,

Could you please help me as I am doing trading with excel and got zerodha account
could you please send the pi related vba functions help doc.

and any sample code with excel.

  26. Brill July 20, 2017 at 12:58 pm

    Sir,
One shortcut key to switch to previously viewed tab will be very useful. By this shortcut we an switch between any 2 tabs easily, any number of time.

    Thanks & Regards

    Dear Saket JI,
can i know is it possible to inbuilt buy sell buttons for trigger price line in PI, if price touch that line order has to executed it means that line is like trigger price order like MT4. For example after execute the buy order if we drag that line to downwards that will be my stop loss trigger price and if i drag upwards that like will be my target price, vise versa for the short order same as MT4 on chart trading. is it possible in PI? I am requesting you trading system like MT4 is it possible?
